Our Ethos and Values

St Luke’s is a special kind of church that is also a community project.

What makes us a church? We are learning how to live our life together, with Jesus at the centre.We are discovering the truth through prayer, worship and study of the Bible together as well as sharing experiences and activities.We live like an extended family, looking out for each other.We find strength in our weakness.We are connected with other Christians within the Anglican diocese and with congregations from other traditions.We want to be the “streetlamps” in our neighbourhood, illuminating the way to Jesus and lighting up the life of the whole community.

What makes us a community project? We will always have an open door, especially to those in need.We want the best for everyone who lives in Cold Harbour and will work hard to achieve it.
